In the business world, no one would take you seriously if your documents
aren’t professional; especially, your letterheads and invoices. You need to
know that it’s not just the final deliverable that counts. There are plenty of
other factors that are taken into account before someone actually agrees to work
with you again.

Try
generating online invoices
Today most businesses operate online and there are very few hard copy
receipts to be found. Therefore, you should see to it that you have the
necessary facilities to generate and mail invoices to your clients. There are
plenty of software’s that would help to create and manage your online invoices;
however, you need to make sure that you pick one that allows you the highest
degree of customization as professionalism needs to be your top priority.

Create
Payment links on your invoices
One of the key factors that you need to keep in mind when generating an
online invoice would be the ability for the other party to pay you easily through
a means that they’re comfortable with.
Again, this would depend on the software you use.

Also in most cases you may want to charge your clients a late fee if
they fail to pay in time. The invoice generating software also has the ability
to send reminders just before the due date to any of your clients who haven’t
paid up yet. Moreover, once the date is passed they would receive a new invoice
with the addition of the late fees.

build up a business relationship between your customers/clients and you. Hence,
no matter what kind of business you run, you need to make sure that you
customize and manage your invoices well.

10 Easy Tips to Help You Market Your Business With Postcards.
Keep in touch with longer-term prospects. I’ve been using postcards for years to promote. I can tell you that it’s more cost effective to sell to a current customer than to find a new customer. You can build a success business on repeat orders, but why stop at just a repeat order? By making a simple suggestion or providing valuable information, you can easily increase the amount of your customer's average purchase and the frequency at which he or she purchases from you. Use a reputable Postcard Printing Company to do your postcards.
Do more than follow-up! When your customer is satisfied they can be sold again and again as long as they are kept satisfied. Here are some reasons why your satisfied customers would want to hear from you. Here are just a few:
- New products or special promotional offers – eg. Atlanta T Shirt Printing- Special upcoming dates or events- Birthday cards offering special birthday discounts- Monthly contests or drawings- Holiday-specific promotions
Up sell, cross-sell or resell to existing customers.
1. Find or decide on the product(s) and bonuses you want to includein your offer.2. Find, create (or have created) appropriate graphics for the postcard3. Set up payment processing for your offer, by phone or from your website etc.4. Design and create your postcard with a very bold offer for people to take notice5. Set up the offer on the postcard with an offer script to run it6. Sent you offer to you customers at the appropriate time that coincide with the offer.
Reactivate inactive customers.
You can also easily and cheaply send a birthday card, a Valentine's Day card and a New Year's greeting card. The point is to communicate with your customer throughout the year and you will be surprised at how your attrition will be significantly lowered.
Give customers your new addresses (mail, email and Web site) and numbers (direct dial, cell phone and fax).
There are no easier way to let your customers know that you have moved other than send them a postcard with this new information. They will have the postcard to refer to when they are ready to contact you. It won’t cost much to do this plus it is effective.
Invite prospects and customers to your seminars and events.
Postcards are a great way to invite people to your store or restaurant. Just mail a postcard that looks like a fancy invitation with time, place and price (if applicable). Invite people to try a new product and give them an incentive for going to your store through a discount or free item. Ask your postcard printing company for help on creating an impressive-looking postcard invitation that would rival a nice wedding invitation.
Drive prospects and customers to your Web site.
If you just created a Web site, announce it through a postcard mailing. Give people a monetary incentive for checking out your Web site or tell them to sign up for your newsletter or for email coupons on your site.
Thank customers for their business.
Use a letter like this example, created by Lynn
Dear Jane,
Thank you for being our valued customer. We are grateful for the pleasure of serving you and meeting your printing and graphic design needs.
We wish you a all the best for the new year.
Warm wishes,
Announce new products, services, people or locations.
Announce a new project or completed work. Postcards are perfect for photographers, web designers, architects, graphic artists, or anyone else who wants to keep their clients in the loop on what they are working on, with something visual and tangible.

Make a quick contact that leads to repeat business. Don't let something as important as a tax deadline slip by your clients. Send them eye-catching tax reminder cards to alert them to approaching tax deadlines, or use the cards to set up appointments for planning sessions.

Here is how you should promote your Clothing Store
While I don’t claim to be no Marketing Guru, I’m giving you my genuine ideas here. I feel like if you do well, then you will bring me more business and hence I’ll do well also. So here goes.
The first thing I think you should always keep in the forefront of your mind is that your ultimate goal is to build brand awareness. So you will therefore do all the things that will place information about your company before your potential customers. That’s what all major company does. Obviously if you don’t have the kind of money they do, you are going to do this the best way you can within your budget. You will think about the things that you can leverage to get the most awareness from and that you can afford of course. For example NIKE find top athletes early and use them to promote there brand. This is because NIKE knows that millions of people will be watching and researching these athletes. I assume you don’t have NIKE money so I have listed some low budget things you can do to promote you stores.
First thing you should do is to invest in a nice sign on your building. It doesn’t have to be expensive, but professional and large enough for people to see from the streets.
Make sure you have some business cards with your logo on. Simple white background with your logo and contact information on it. This is obvious and simple, but it is important. You should always be in a mood to network and give people your cards no matter where you are.
Print flyers/postcards with some sort of sale or discount on it. You should go out in the parking area, on the road at a stop light close to your store, another shopping canter close by or wherever you see people going about their business and encouraging them to come into you store by placing your postcard into there hand. Let them know verbally to come in and get the discount. Don’t just give them the flyer and say nothing. Make sure to let them know that if they shop today they would get the discount or sale on the flyer.
Have a big banner on your store front that says SALE 70% OFF SOME ITEMS. You can mark down some t-shirt or something to make sure you not giving false advertising.
You must employ people who are not only great at customer service, but also know how to sell. You could have a commission based system that will encourage your employees to make the sale.
Your employees should dress and look uniform. This could be as simple as placing your logo on some t-shirts and have them wear the same color bottom. Remember it’s all about building your brand.
Build a website. This will help to expose your company to the whole world. Make sure you have a form on your website that can capture peoples contact information when they sign up for something. It could just be a 10% discount coupon that they can print from the website and bring it into the store to redden for the discount. In time you will have 1,000s of people contact information to promote you brand to. You should optimize your website so that when people search for items that you offer within your area, they will find you on search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. This is a powerful thing and it doesn’t have to cost you anything if you know what you are doing.
Distribute your postcard to all the restaurants, hair salons/barber shops, and other similar places in your area.
Put car magnets on your vehicles with your company logo and information.
Go into the adjoining neighborhoods and go knock on people’s doors. Give them a flyer and tell them to come into your store are get a discount. Remember, you are networking. Actually I would say you are making friends. If people like you, trust me they will do business with you. I know this method may sound far fetched, but in challenging economic times like these you better be prepared to go the extra mile to beat the competition.
Sponsor or put on your own event. You could put on a weekly event. Don’t go all out and put on some large event without proper planning. Start small. Invite your friends, family and have them bring at least two people with them. Do it in a public place where lots of other people attend. They will want to know what’s going on and there you will get your opportunity to network. You could join with someone who already have a weekly event going on, just make sure it’s not a competitor. Think in terms of events that compliment your business like a fashion show, Night clubs parties etc. It would be most effective if you could have the event at your store. Brainstorm and try something unique.
You should have a SALE every week! People love sales and this will bring more customers through your doors. Just chose some selected items to put up on sale.
GIVE AWAY THINGS! People love FREE and will remember you store. Just make sure your logo and contact formation is on it. You could give away some wall calendars with you logo big and bold on it. People keep these all year long.
Lastly you should have your own unique shopping bags with your logo on it and contact information. Make sure it has a unique design or color to draw attention.
Create business invoices and forms that display your company information including your logo.
I certainly hope that you will find at least some of these marketing tactic useful. There are many things you can do to get the word out. Just remember to always be in a networking mood and be ready with business card in hand when you see or meet new people.
